DIARY OF THE AVENUE SURGERY GARDEN PROJECT
Dear Patients,
We have been very excited and fortunate to have a group of keen and dedicated patients who have taken on board a cracking challenge in bringing some life to the Surgery’s front garden. This project started just over a month ago, thanks to the initiative of Vartoug, one of our patients, and is going from strength to strength.
You will be seeing many changes as you come to the surgery through the front path and we will be sharing the journey with you all as we get on in the months.
For a starter though, please see some pictures shared by the team and snippets from their diary.
For anyone who wishes to help and take part in this journey, please come along on a Sunday morning or contact Vartoug on [email protected] and she can tell you how you can help.
This is a great community project and we would like to thank every one of the patients who comes along to put in their hard work and efforts to make this happen for everyone.

Due to prvious rain during the week, the leaves were wet and stuck to the soil. SO clearing the leaves took longer! Well that’s an excuse!
Little Robin came to check our work!
Three Volunteers did excellent job of digging and planting new plants! Looks wonderful!
Really nice of our Doctors to come and visit us! We had Tea/Coffee, biscuits and chocolates!
